Fire Fighters Training School has successfully implemented the Strategic Partnership project of the Erasmus+ programme "Preparation for emergency situations: rescue, survival and first aid training (TeachMergency)".

The initiators of the project were the Pardubice High School of Chemistry of the Czech Republic, the partners were the University of Žilina of the Slovak Republic and the Lithuanian Fire Fighters Traning School. The project lasted two years (2020 - 2020), 40 participants from all participating countries. The project's activities were focused on teachers who train firefighters, as well as cadets from partners who participated in international training.

The focus of the TeachMergency project was to share knowledge and practical skills and build competence in water rescue in the areas of first aid and survival.

At the end of the project, a training manual was prepared to share the accumulated skills, knowledge and competences acquired in rescue, survival and first aid training.

During the project, short educational videos were created, which provide tips on how to rescue, survive and provide first aid.

Fire Fighters Training School is glad with the results of the projects and continues to develop the internationals projects.
