A Glimpse into the UNIZA Research Camp: Intensive Preparations for the SAFAR Project
At the beginning of March, the University of Žilina (UNIZA) team gathered for their annual Research Camp, where they shared knowledge and laid the groundwork for significant international achievements. This informal yet highly productive meeting served as the primary platform for preparing for an upcoming spring marathon of activities.

While the team worked on several different research areas, the main focus remained on the SAFAR project. As UNIZA is actively involved in this initiative, the Research Camp was used to finalize details for three critically important upcoming events:
- The Transnational Project Meeting;
- The Staff Training program;
- The Multiplier Event, which is scheduled for early May 2026.
According to team representative Samuel Kochkar, such meetings allow the team to concentrate on solving complex tasks away from the daily routine. In an informal setting, innovative ideas are born ideas that are essential for the successful development of the SAFAR project.

"It was an incredibly intensive time dedicated to preparing for the activities that lie just ahead. We appreciate the opportunity to share this informal glimpse into our daily work," says S. Kočkár.

Following the successful Research Camp, the team returns to their tasks with renewed energy. The next major milestone is the Multiplier Event in May, where the results achieved will be presented and future guidelines will be established.
