Advanced XR Training Experiences Developed by SCP in the SAFAR Project
The SCP team plays an important role in the SAFAR project by creating immersive and realistic XR training experiences using Unity technology and advanced digital tools. Our specialists help transform real-life firefighting situations into a safe virtual environment where trainees can learn and practice without risk. These solutions are particularly important for implementing WP3 activities, which focus on training innovations and strengthening instructor competencies.
In addition to technological development, SCP also contributes to WP4 activities, which include dissemination and sustainability. Our goal is to promote the use of modern XR technologies in the fire and rescue sector and ensure that these tools are integrated into long-term training practices. By developing Unity-based XR scenarios, we provide instructors with the ability to deliver effective, low-risk training simulations that enhance situational awareness, reaction speed, and decision-making skills among trainees.
