The primary goal of the "SAFAR" project is to create a guide that helps educators develop and integrate XR applications (AR guides, remote assistance, digital twins) and 360° videos into both classroom and hands-on training. This guide will provide relevant qualification models, technological instructions, practical tips, and sample lesson plans.

Project Objectives:
- Enrich firefighter training with immersive technological solutions;
- Prepare firefighting and crisis management instructors for future teaching skill requirements;
- Reduce risks and costs associated with training firefighters and crisis managers;
- Enhance the quality of situational awareness training programs.

This week (January 19–23), the Firefighters Training School launched one of the final stages of the project: testing scenarios specifically designed to train firefighters, cadets, and trainees using Virtual Reality (VR) technology.

Following the prepared lesson plans, school instructors are testing the scenarios by teaching other peer educators who act as testers. During this phase, 10 school-developed scenarios were tested, covering various fields, including:
- High-altitude rescue training;
- Communication with individuals experiencing suicidal ideation;
- The use of automated external defibrillators (AED);
- Fire investigation and determination of the cause of ignition.
