SAFAR Project Update: Lo-To Training Scenario Filming

We are excited to share the latest updates regarding the development of our immersive training tools. On February 11, 2026, our team successfully finalized a new, advanced scenario within the WARP-VR application, developed in close collaboration with Tyco Electronics EC Trutnov s.r.o.

The primary focus of this session was to complete an alternative branch of our interactive 360-degree scenario, specifically targeting the Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedure for BC-38 extruders.

Unlike linear training, this new branch introduces "free decision-making." Trainees can now choose their own path, which intentionally leaves room for potential mistakes or the omission of critical safety steps.

If a trainee fails to follow the correct LOTO sequence, the scenario leads to undesirable negative consequences affecting a virtual co-worker. This high-impact visual feedback clearly illustrates the real-world risks associated with improper maintenance practices, making the safety lessons far more memorable than traditional methods.

By implementing these alternative paths, we are now able to fully utilize the scoring and evaluation system integrated within the WARP-VR platform. This allows for a deeper, more meaningful assessment of a trainee’s progress, decision-making skills, and overall safety awareness.
