Testing of a VR Training Scenario at KIA Slovakia
On April 20, 2026, a VR training scenario focused on forklift (VZV) operation was successfully tested at KIA Slovakia. As the scenario was developed in close collaboration with the company, the testing was carried out directly in a real working environment, ensuring high relevance and realism.
The testing involved 15 participants from different job positions, including employees as well as students participating in a dual education programme with KIA Slovakia. This combination allowed for valuable feedback from both experienced professionals and trainees.

The overall user experience was very positive. Participants highlighted the practical relevance and realism of the scenario, as well as its potential for effective training. While a few users initially mentioned mild discomfort related to VR use, most adapted very quickly, and in some cases, expected issues such as motion sickness did not occur at all.

Minor feedback was received regarding the user interface, particularly in relation to navigating and closing pop-up elements. This will be taken into account in further improvements of the scenario.

Overall, the testing confirmed strong interest in VR-based training solutions and opened up opportunities for further collaboration.
